Get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi and travel to Ninh Binh province. Make a visit to Bái Đính, the largest pagoda in Vietnam, and admire its 500 La Han statues and the 32-foot (10-m) bronze Buddha statue. Eat lunch at a nearby restaurant serving Vietnamese cuisine including goat with elderberry, or a delicious pork bowl.
After lunch, arrive at Tràng An, a UNESCO-listed series of grottoes carved from the region's striking natural monoliths of limestone.
