If there is one place in Vietnam that beach-loving visitors should go, it is the city of Nha Trang. Nha Trang, which is the capital of Khanh Hoa Province, is called the country's ocean city for a reason: its main feature is its crescent-shaped beach. Every year, countless local and international tourists flock to the city, particularly during the summer season. The influx of visitors is accommodated by the many guesthouses, hotels and resorts in the beach as well as its outlying islands.
Nha Trang is also home to fine restaurants and tourist shops. Nha Trang proves to be the ultimate vacation destination. There is so much to do, both during the day and night. When the sun is up, tourists can snorkel, dive or take a cruise to nearby islands. They can also relax and lounge around at the beach front, or enjoy some of the best seafood in the restaurants. At night, people can go bar-hopping. Unlike in some cities in Vietnam, the nightlife scene is alive in Nha Trang; establishments are open until late.
Those who want a break from the beach can visit the Pasteur Institute, Long Son Pagoda and Po Nagar Cham Temple.
