    Apocalypse Now District 1

    A ten-minute walk away of the backpacker district of Dong Khoi is Apocalypse Now, a legendary bar with an upstairs nightclub that draws a steady following of backpackers, expats and well-dressed locals. While it isn’t the most sophisticated of clubs, Apocalypse Now still offers a fun night out, with cheap drinks promotions, good mix of pop and trance tunes, as well as plenty of space for dancing and enjoying the evening with a few drinks. Unlike most nightclubs in Saigon, Apocalypse Now stays open until 04:00, making it a great place for when you’re in the mood for that one more drink.     The Observatory Saigon District 4

    The Observatory Saigon is an underground music club within District 4 that plays mostly underground techno, house and disco until sunrise. Set on the third floor, the nightclub boasts impressive sound systems, spacious dancefloor, and an open-air balcony that overlooks the Saigon River. The Observatory Saigon hosts prominent local and international DJs including Tom Trago, John Morales, Joakim and San Soda. While entrance to The Observatory Saigon is free of charge, there’s a cover charge of VND 150,000 after 23:00. Every Wednesday, you can also watch a documentary on electronic music and club culture as well as a live DJ set at The Observatory Saigon.

    MGM Club District 3

    MGM Club is set within a four-storey building on Nguyen Dinh Chieu, MGM Club gets into full swing with impeccably-dressed clubbers come nightfall. The music policy here is a mix of techno and house, drawing mostly local youths looking to party the night away. With that being said, you should buy a bottle and find a table for the night. After a night of dancing, you can enjoy a cuppa at MGM’s all-day coffee shop on the ground floor or unwind with more drinks at the lounge bar on the second.

    Gossip Club District 1

    A two-level nightlife venue within Dainam Hotel, Gossip Club attracts a steady clientele of local celebs, models, and affluent travellers while international DJs spin trance, house and progressive house tunes until 04:00. The nightclub features seven VIP lounge areas, free-standing tables with chairs, a circular dance floor with impressive light and sound systems, and a modern bar with plenty of seating. Drinks served here include a large selection of cocktails, imported beers, wines, and spirits.
