Bamboo Chic Saigon is a restaurant serving Japanese and Chinese fusion cuisine with a hint of European flavour. The interior is stylish, chic and nicely decorated with imported accessories and furniture from the Orient. Located on the ninth floor of the five-star Le Meridien Hotel, you will have nice views of the city and The Saigon River as the restaurant has windows which go from wall to wall, allowing every seated position a marvellous view.
Some of the dishes at Bamboo Chic that should be tried are the seared scallops with green apple puree and mixed salad for VND 310.000 (US$15), miso-braised beef cheek, Wakame salad and their signature dish: Wok-fried udon noodle with Canadian lobster, priced at VND 480.000 (US$23). There is also the possibility to order a five-course menu that allows the chef to show his complete range of skills.
Every day from 18:00-20:00 there is a ‘buy one, get one’ happy hour on Sapporo craft beer and Sake cocktails. After this time there’s a discount of 30% in place for all beverages. Next to the restaurant there is an outside area with swimming pool where you can relax, have a cigarette and enjoy the view. Be noted that children have to be over the age of 12 to join adults in the restaurant.
