Suoi Tien Cultural Amusement Park

Ho Chi Minh Attractions

Suoi Tien Cultural Amusement Park attracts travelling families looking to enjoy a fun-filled day in Ho Chi Minh City. This Buddhist-themed attraction is fitted with colourful statues of mythical creatures such as dragons, tortoises and phoenixes, as well as edifices and shrines of Buddha.

Located in District 9, families can enjoy waterslides at the artificial Tien Dong Beach, rollercoaster rides, parades, a 4D theatre and an aquarium. The staff are often dressed as golden monkeys, entertaining young visitors with impressive tricks and performances.

The water park area has lazy rivers where you can ride on boats shaped like turtles and dogs, as well as water slides that emerge from the mouths or beards of gigantic Buddhist sages. There’s also a big farm housing over 1,000 crocodiles, which visitors are allowed to feed using raw meat attached to fishing poles.

Alternatively, older visitors can attempt the underground attraction called the Unicorn Palace. Despite the name, it’s actually a walk-through tunnel that houses gory displays of the nine levels of Hell (according to Buddhist beliefs), such as humans getting ripped apart, eaten by various animals and dumped into boiling vats.

Locals often flock to this popular theme park to light incenses at the numerous prayer halls within the premise, especially during special festivities, so it’s also a good place to experience the Buddhist rituals during your visit. Open daily, entrance fees to Suoi Tien Cultural Amusement Park are priced at US$5 for adults and US$2.50 for children.
