    Thanh Binh Gallery

    Thanh Binh Gallery is a contemporary fine art gallery in the French Quarter of Hanoi.     Red Moon Gallery, located along Trang Tien Street, is managed by Mr. Hung, who has over 10 years of experience in curating Vietnamese artwork. Open daily, the gallery offers a good mix of contemporary pieces by well-known and emerging local artists, where you are presented with certificate of authenticity and a copy of artist’s biography upon purchase. Most paintings on display here are of natural landscapes and portraits with vivid colours on materials such as canvas and lacquered wood.

    Dong Phong Art Gallery

    Dong Phong Art Gallery may seem tiny compared to most art galleries in Hanoi, but you get to enjoy a tour of another, much larger, off-site collection of Vietnamese artwork as well as access to studios of several local artists in Hanoi. Located along Ly Dao Thanh Street, the former is set within a spacious apartment about three kilometres from Dong Phong Art Gallery, and is only open by appointment.     Cho Hom Market

    Cho Hom Market offers arguably the most extensive collection of fabrics in Hanoi, making it a popular shopping venue for local tailors and tourists looking to purchase materials for their very own custom-made clothing. Similar to most Hanoi markets, the ground floor is filled with stalls selling local food, fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish, seafood, meat, and household appliances.
